Welcome to my blog, I’ve had a few over the years including a long lost livejournal out there in the ether. This one is for me to reflect on and share the journey of undertaking a PhD through UniSA on best practice in Impact Producing.

By way of introduction, I’m, Alex. I am an artist, filmmaker, producer and activist based on Dja Dja Warrung Country. I work across film, theatre, communications strategy and troublemaking, connecting the disciplines of art and social change. I’m interested in deep and lasting transformational change and working towards climate justice. My previous films include Queen of the Desert (Director) This Changes Everything (as Global Impact & Distribution Producer), Island of the Hungry Ghosts (Producer) and In My Blood It Runs (Impact & Associate Producer). Most recently I was Impact Producer on The Dreamlife of Georgie Stone (Netflix 2022). I am a founding member of the Unquiet Collective. I also have a collaborative speculative futuring practice - The Things We Did Next.
